LEAVE YOUR REVIEWWine that you would exactly describe côtés du Rhône, full-bodied, with aromas of red fruits and without much acidity. Highly recommended with red meat, but it goes the best with French onion soup.
A good Cotes du Rhone, fruity bouquet, robust but not heavy, a great favourite and excellent value, would recommend as an accompaniment to most meat and poultry dishes.
Unbeatable price-pleasure ratio, well-balanced wine, silky tannins, perfect with pasta bolognese, good length on the palate with a slight touch of reglissée
Excellent wine for the table, being a lover of Côtes du Rhône, I was not disappointed! The fruit expresses itself very well! Very good wine and small price with the promotion to recommend and recommend ;)
A simple, fresh, very fruity wine with a slight carbonic residue that makes it suitable, for example, for boiled meats. If left to oxygenate, the carbonic acid slowly goes away. I liked it, with appropriate pairings.
Very nice full-bodied red wine with a variety of taste nuances that can excellently represent the high quality standard and invite to moments of pleasure again and again.
Grenache without a doubt! On the palate it is soft and velvety, the red fruits express themselves well with silky tannins. A Côtes du Rhône that keeps its promises, with an amazing quality to price ratio.
A rather powerful wine with little persistence that I personally did not like very much. Apart from the alcohol content, it was not very noticeable and did not leave me with a great memory.
A very good Côtes du Rhône that I enjoyed to the full with some friends. A good 2019. I highly recommend it without hesitation. I will let it age for 3 or 4 bottles to see how it behaves.
Everything we enjoy in a Cotes du Rhone: aromas of ripe fruit, a rich palate, good tannins and above all, good length. An elegant red, bravo Romain
Small price and tasted - doesn't hurt, but nothing more. It's too light for us, maybe it doesn't go down so well with poultry. But you don't discover anything new without tasting it
A quality to price ratio defying all competition. A wine for friends, without fuss or exuberance, but very pleasant to drink with summer dishes.
What a wine, very well constructed: a pleasantly gourmet nose of ripe fruit and a remarkable balance at this price level. But how is this possible at less than 5 euros. Thank you Vinatis!
Very fruity, sweetish, tannins rather in the background (almost pure Grenache) For a CdR, the range of aromas was somewhat lacking for me. Unfortunately, the last 2 bottles were slightly tingly...
A good basic wine. Typical of the region and the grenache syrah blend. Bought several times, regular and very good value for money. Would recommend.
A good Côtes du Rhône at a fantastic price. Excellent value for money. Easy to drink for all occasions, good with charcuterie and red meats
Not enthusiastic about this Côte du Rhône. The price is very attractive but for a few euros more you can get much better wines in this region.
A simple wine without pretension but quite convincing due to its price. It has all the qualities of a friend's wine and will make everyone agree at a barbecue!
Another nice wine bought here. Dark fruity, full bodied without being "thick", this is a test purchase turned into a membership by all friends! Drank with toasted meat. Do not hesitate to open it several hours in advance! Excellent price/pleasure ratio!
A basic wine, perfect for an aperitif with friends. It is a fleshy wine with a lot of fruit (red fruits). I like it, but I have other preferences in this price range.
At this price, no hesitation. The quality to price ratio is unbeatable. A young wine that can be kept for a few years. Notes of red fruits. Rather light wine.
A Côtes du Rhône with an excellent fruity quality to price ratio that caresses your taste buds with a certain smoothness. A very well made wine that deserves to be recommended
Warm and explosive for an entry-level wine. A nose of black fruits, a pretty palette of flavours for a fleshy wine, which needs to be aired but has length on the palate.
For my taste, it is still a bit acidic, but its colour and flavour are extraordinary. Maybe in a few months it will be much better. Lots of ripe fruit. Recommended with meats and sausages.
Black cherry, liquorice, spices... That's all a fine example of Côtes-du-Rhône dominated by Grenache. Serve with grilled lamb. Can wait in the cellar. Due to the price, it would be a shame to miss out!
Second order for this Côtes du Rhône which keeps the promise of the wine of friends, without weariness, it is sufficiently complex to go the distance.
The Mouved gives a lot of softness to this wine, a nice discovery, compared to more tannic wines in general in Côte du Rhône, to be recommended for amateurs
Good table wine, pleasant to drink as an aperitif. Simple, supple (not tannic), light and fruity (slightly cooked and spicy black fruits). Little acidity, soft on the palate. I recommend it!
This is the second time I have bought this wine without hesitation. A wine with Rhone Valley charm. With aromas of red and black fruits and spices I was pleased to experience a pleasant harmony.
Always pleasant, a safe bet but deserves a long aeration, even better the next day. A simple and efficient Côtes du Rhône in a way!
I am a great fan of red wine and in particular of this grape variety, and this wine is a nugget due to its quality and its price. Pleasant and breathtakingly long on the palate! I'm very pleased with it.
not my taste. somehow arbitrary without wanting to devalue it. the power is missing here too. apparently it is becoming fashionable to strongly emphasise the fruit.
A well-balanced and harmonious blend. Typical wine from the Rhine coast. Will not disappoint connoisseurs. Fruity but elegant. Red fruits and black cherry in evidence.
A good Cote du Rhone at a very attractive price. In my opinion, it should be opened an hour or so before drinking it in order to fully appreciate its quality. Definitely a good buy.
At 5 € a bottle, I risk looking for a very long time for a wine with the best quality to price ratio, 2 stars in the Hachette guide which are not stolen. To be consumed without moderation
A blend of several grapes, including Cabernet Sauvignon, of course. Medium robe, promising nose, black fruits, pastries, mineral, but... With little intensity. In the mouth, light, very fluid with little body. Somewhat astringent, medium tannins.
A pleasant wine, but it deserves to be opened at least a day before. It gives a sensation of effervescence that is not very pleasant. Opened on Friday evening, we enjoyed it a little more on Sunday evening...
A wine appreciated by all, light and fragrant. A wine that can accompany many dishes and cheeses, very versatile and has received many compliments.
This red wine is a little too fruity for me. It tastes slightly acidic as a result. It still lacks some depth and fullness. Perhaps it should mature a little more.
Simple, effective, powerful, everything you would expect from a Côtes du Rhône. Perfect as an aperitif or as an aperitif-dinner drink. Very good quality to price ratio, see how it behaves with age ?
A fine, deep ruby wine, persuasive on the nose, in which fruit and spice harmonise well, warm and enveloping in the mouth, where it offers itself to marriages with moderately elaborate meats. The finish is good. OK value for money.
Excellent quality to price ratio.
Romain Duvernay is a guarantee of quality, ideal wine for everyday life, it is good, it works very well with red meats.
Very attractive price but unpretentious wine. Lacks a little length on the palate for a Côtes du Rhône and a little too acidic for my taste. A wine that I would not recommend.
A typical Rhone wine, but that's precisely why we like it! An exceptional quality to price ratio, I regularly have some in my cellar and it is not ready to stop. A sure value!
This wine is a nugget with an excellent quality to price ratio! I highly recommend discovering this Côtes du Rhône, you won't be disappointed! A complementary order is necessary!
Nugget! A great surprise with this wine which looks just like its highly coveted and renowned neighbours in the region... Character, power, staying power and explosive taste. A killer ?
Very good fruity wine with a raspberry background. Goes well with red meat and a good cheese platter. Perfect for a Sunday lunch or a good meal with friends!
A sour wine that does not leave a pleasant taste but rather a 'dry mouth' sensation, personally I did not like this blend very much, thin.
A wine from Romain Duvernay (whose vintages I particularly appreciate) that I had not yet discovered. A very good surprise for this price range, which I recommend for lovers of spicy and red fruit wines.
An exceptional wine, stupendous, I would say bordering on perfection. Elegant, smooth, decisive and with great personality. Very versatile, it adapts well to everything. I love it.
Ruby red with violet hues, it expresses on the nose hints of berries under spirits and herbaceous notes, being fruity, fresh, tannic and with a spicy finish on the palate. A less full-bodied wine than other Côtes-du-Rhône tasted so far, but very elegant, silky and pleasant to drink.
We never run out of this red wine. It is a wonderfully light and velvety wine with a wonderful finish. It should not be missing with a hearty meal. Absolute recommendation.
Very nice for a Côtes du Rhône! Elegant with silky tannins. I like to suggest it with a cheese platter, its balance makes it go with many cheeses. Otherwise with good charcuterie perfect too.
Another great wine from Duvernay. I find the Côtes du Rhône very rich in aroma. On a red meat barbecue it went down like a charm.
A particularly tasty and delicate wine, a very interesting quality to price ratio, I highly recommend this estate. Goes well with many dishes in sauce, cheeses etc.
This wine is pleasant to drink and was the unanimous opinion of the table, a beautiful colour and a certain strength makes it enjoyable, I will try the new vintage when it is available.
A very well worked Côtes du Rhône. For the price, you can't go wrong. It holds up well and will allow you to drink something well made for an extremely competitive price! A must have!
Excellent quality to price ratio for this Côtes du Rhône which goes perfectly with a good meat with friends. Light notes with a good length. A must try!
A real local wine, with typical flavours of the region and for a very interesting price! Surprising that it is at this price given its much higher quality!
A very nice Côtes du Rhône to be enjoyed with friends and to be discovered! Never disappointed with Romain Duvernay. You can feel the fruit, to be enjoyed with a plank of charcuterie! Impeccable.
Easy to drink! This is my personal everyday wine. But even in (or precisely because of) everyday life, I go for quality. Organic, Rhone Valley, winemaker who knows his craft. Great!
Very reasonable quality to price ratio for this Cotes du Rhone. A wine for everyday drinking for those who like full-bodied wines. Surprising. I recommend it.
Aromas of red fruit, liquorice and herbs, with well-balanced acidity and a pleasant length on the palate. A great quality to price ratio that is well suited to informal occasions.
Rather on notes of red fruits with a good length on the palate, this Cotes du Rhone defends well its origin. At this very reasonable price for this quality, don't miss it!
First bottle tasted today and quite disappointed. No red fruit character of a Cotes du Rhone, drinkable but quite astringent on the palate, a sad wine of the trade.
A Cotes du Rhône with spectacular value for money. Balanced and silky, with some acidity but very pleasant to drink. As soon as stock is back in stock we will have to get some more.
A well-crafted assembled red from a technical point of view, nothing to say, a nice alcohol content that is never excessive, pleasant for the overall balance but in my opinion something is missing starting with the aromas.
A sunny Côtes du Rhône with a juicy, velvety structure and ripe, silky tannins. It reveals heady aromas of red fruits and spicy notes such as white pepper.
I did not necessarily enjoy drinking this bottle. It leaves a certain acidity on the palate. I do not recommend buying this Côtes du Rhône.
A Côtes du Rhône of an absolute roundness and very elegant. The winemaker as I like them, I will try another appellation to discover his other nuggets. Thank you Vinatis.
What a quality to price ratio! Fruit, freshness, no heaviness. A wine accessible to all. Wines like we would like to come across more often. Bravo !
A real treat! An incredible quality to price ratio. This wine is sweet on the palate, very suave with notes of black cherries and spices. It's a real favourite. To try it is to adopt it.
Excellent quality to price ratio, a smooth and well-balanced wine, perfect as an aperitif or with a good meal. A sure value at every tasting.
I recommend this wine which is perfect in terms of quality/price.
A very fine generic Côtes du Rhône that generously fills the palate with its gourmet southern flavours, with a harmonious freshness to ensure relief. A pleasure to drink.
A delicious wine from the Rhone Valley that is way up there in terms of price-performance ratio. You should always have a few bottles at home, it's worth it and guests like it.
Now a staple in my cellar, Bories is a concentrate of red fruits, with a hint of spice, an aromatic delight that goes wonderfully with an aperitif, a barbecue or hard cheeses. At 6.30€ for a bottle of 3, the quality to price ratio is unbeatable.
A blend of Grenache and Syrah from Romain Duvernay that is simply perfect, this fruity Côtes du Rhône deserves to be kept for two more years to bring out all its aromas.
Fruity taste for this Côtes du Rhône. For my part, I appreciated this light fruity taste for a Côtes du Rhône. The opinions were more mixed for my guests, but I think I would recommend it.
A nose of ripe red fruits. On tasting, the blackcurrant and cherry aromas are confirmed with spicy notes. This wine is dense, full-bodied but well balanced.
A good Côtes du Rhône wine, which is a pleasure to drink as an aperitif or with a meal, it is one of the round wines that can be drunk on its own (in moderation) of course. It lacks character and length to pass the 17/20 mark.
Good wine, good value and very competitive quality to price ratio. I found the red fruits well, less the spices announced. Lacks a bit of length on the palate in the end but still very pleasant.
Very good surprise with this Côtes du Rhône les Bories 2019 from Romain DUVERNAY. A wine as enjoyed by us, which made us spend a very good time with friends.
I like this domain on their multiple appellations but slightly disappointed with this bottle that I drank with a friend. Not a bad wine but not gourmet and fruity enough for my taste.
A typical dry Rhone wine, beautiful violet colour, fruity and fresh, not too heavy and good to drink.
Very good value for money
A wine to be drunk with friends, without great pretension, with a simple meal. Good quality to price ratio, but a wine that lacks crispness and deliciousness.
This Côtes-du-Rhône is a marvel. Very open red fruit on the nose and equally ripe tannins on the palate. It is a powerful and fleshy wine but velvety and silky. A great wine I recommend it.
Unpretentious wine, good for an aperitif with friends. The tannins are quite supple, lacking a little roundness and fruit for my taste, but it does the job due to the price.
I was surprised by the taste of the wine. For a simple wine at less than ten euros, the structure was perfect.
Opened 1 hour before, the marriage with the tartiflette was amazing, even the mother-in-law appreciated it.
Unbeatable price/pleasure ratio, balanced wine, silky tannins, perfect with pasta bolognese. Good length on the palate with a slight reglissé touch.
Excellent quality to price ratio which makes it possible to serve a magnificent table wine, much more balanced and structured than certain appellations with higher prices.
I'd say it's a small price to pay for a good wine to accompany toasted meats (ideal for barbecuing), with a pronounced red/black fruit note.
A very interesting wine, light but with character. I highly recommend it especially considering its value for money. Recommended for red meat dishes
A very well balanced wine, with a lot of roundness and a good concentration of fruit, a very good Côte du Rhône.
An excellent quality to price ratio!
I highly recommend it!
A Côtes du Rhône with a perfect balance, a nice roundness on the palate, notes of red fruits that do not leave the palate indifferent. It is a light wine that will accompany your toasted meats without any problem. At this price, we ask for more and especially we recommend it!
A well-balanced and fruity wine that we particularly appreciate with red meats or at barbecues with friends. The quality to price ratio is almost unbeatable.
I like Romain Duvernay's wines, I am a bit disappointed here, it lacks relief, it is powerful but really not very subtle.
I recommend it all the same in this price range.
This Côtes du Rhône keel is a real treat! It has an intense, fruity bouquet, with notes of red berries, black cherries and warm spices. On the palate, this wine is simply delicious, with a velvety texture and supple tannins.
It reconciled me with the appellation. A beautiful roundness, an easy to drink wine, very well balanced. To be enjoyed from now on with great pleasure!
An unbeatable quality to price ratio for this Côte du Rhône. I love the velvety and silky side with a nice length. A wine that is easy to open in all circumstances.
Romain Duvernay is a talented oenologist associated with newRhône Millésimes, recognised by his peers as one of the finest palates in the region. After honing his skills in Bordeaux, Languedoc, Burgundy and a national restaurant distributor, he quickly fell in love with all the resources of the Rhône Valley and moved there in the early 1900s. Knowing all the subtleties of the grape varieties and terroirs, Romain Duvernay gave birth in 2010 to the brand that bears his name, and has been making wines with talent from both the northern and southern appellations of the valley. Aware of the development potential of a region as rich as the Rhône Valley, Jean-Marc Pottiez decided in early 2016 to create the newRhône Millésimes house, by associating himself with Romain and his Signature brand. It is with a degree of exigency each year sharper that this duo intends to continue the development of this house by working with the greatest rigour each of the grape varieties that make up the charm of the Rhône Valley.
