"An intense, finely juicy, perfectly textured, sublime, elegant and complex Doosberg (...) It is an extraordinary Doosberg! ” R. Parker
We are proud to present one of the most sought-after wines from the Jakob Kuhn domaine. The nose already shows itself to be incredibly expressive, exuding notes of ripe apricot, pear jelly and quince on a frame of sweet spices, bringing elegance and refinement. The palate is balanced between delicious fruit coated with spices, mineral freshness and complexity of aromas. All this with incredible elegance for a memorable tasting! Introduce your palate to the grandeur of German Großes Gewächs - the equivalent of Grands Crus - with this model cuvée!

PETER JAKOB KÜHN

The Peter Jakob Kühn estate was developed in the 1970s by Peter Jakob and his wife Angela, who built the present winery. Their son Peter Berhnard, born in 1984, has been working at the estate since the early 2000s, overseeing both the vineyards and the winery, always in consultation with his father. His sisters Sandra and Kathrin are also involved in the family business. The constant search for quality has naturally led to the transition to organic and biodynamic farming (Demeter certification in 2004). Since 2002, the estate has also been a member of the VDP (an association of the greatest estates in Germany). At the estate, biodynamics consists of disturbing nature as little as possible, in order to create a natural balance with the plants. The use of natural composts is part of this approach. Increased sensitivity to living organisms, empathy and observations now allow us to intervene wisely in the vineyards, relying on biodiversity to recreate a virtuous ecosystem, capable of giving life to grapes that express their subtle differences of origin according to the terroir.
