LEAVE YOUR REVIEWExcellent wine for fish, straw yellow with green reflections, fragrant and intense bouquet as for many New Zealand whites. Fruity (tropical) and fresh nose, mineral and herbaceous in the mouth. Very good drink, excellent acidity, bottle finished in an instant.
This New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc is a very beautiful bottle to share. Typical aromas of citrus, good body and plenty of freshness. Excellent value for money!
It is a very New Zealand good wine. A powerful nose of explosive citrus. A find to share with friends with a starter or fish. Superb. I recommend it.
This Ned has become a classic for me, year after year. An incredible nose of explosive citrus aromas, so much freshness and minerality. Rarely available value for money! Don't wait around. It's a very different wine to pure French Sauvignon Blanc - and better in my opinion.
Excellent wine. I love its lightness and the fruity favour of this white wine. I tried it a long time ago and rediscovered it recently. I recommend it! Drink it with friends as an aperitif.
An excellent white wine for this Sauvignon variety from New Zealand.
A balanced wine to drink with friends. Delicious aromas of lemon and passion fruit on the palate with a finish that has just the right acidity.
I didn't know this vintage, but I had the chance to try its predecessors and it really is a lovely find! A quality wine, not too dear and lovely to share!
An excellent find for us! A very pale colour and light body. The lemon and passion fruit aromas explode on the nose. On the palate it is very fruity with a good acidity. Lacks a little length but very well-balanced.
An amazing Sauvignon Blanc! If you do not like the more herbal/grassy Sauvignon Blanc this is a great purchase. Citrus notes with touches of passion fruit and papaya. Just delicious and refreshing
One of the best from those I have tried here. Very close to my personal ideal one that I still cannot find here. No-sweet, sincerely dry but flowery enough. A very pleasant company!
A New Zealand wine that sits between the citrus of a white Pessac Leognan and an acidity close to a Sancerre. Lovely bottle recommended as an aperitif. A wine that will surprise everyone.
Aromatic, outgoing and full of energy, a really good example of the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc style and terroir at an affordable price. The wine is fresh and fun, with tons of signature cut grass, passion fruit and grapefruit aromas.
Good intensity passion fruit, lime and nectarine flavours, dry with plenty of mouthwatering acidity. Maybe a bit of pineapple and gooseberry too. excellent value for money wine
Pleasant on the palate. I love this Marlborough Sauvignon from New Zealand - I can't find it anywhere else. Fruit and acidity blend well together.
Amazing Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. Very pale color, almost transparent, smells like a tropical fruit salad, passion fruit and mango. The passion fruit is very present in the taste as well. It is really fresh, vibrant and easy to drink, amazingly full of tropical flavours.
Located at the northern tip of New Zealand's South Island, "The Ned" vineyard sits in one of the country's most interesting wine regions: the Marlborough region. The estate takes its name from one of the highest peaks on the Island, and is masterfully run by its owner, Brent Marris, a native of the region. Located on the southern slope of the Waihopai Valley, the 268ha of the vineyard is crossed by the Waihopai River which not only provides a border, but which is also the origin of the pebbles that make up the entire terroir of the vineyard. "The Ned" is an area that represents New Zealand wonderfully well, where we can perceive in its achievements all the energy and expression of all the land of the country with the long white cloud.
