BEAUJOLAIS VILLAGES 2019 - DOMAINE CHAPEL

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Beaujolais / Beaujolais Villages AOC / 12,5 % vol / 100% Gamay

“A Beaujolais-Village that is bursting with flavours (...) satin and soft palate with mouthwatering acids and blended tannins. " R. Parker
The Beaujolais-Village by David Chapel was made in the most natural way possible, without additives. It comes in a beautiful and attractive colour. Its aromatic bouquet reveals notes of red and black fruits and violets.  There is a soft and delicate material on the palate but above all, and this is its greatest asset: extremely delicious. It can be enjoyed in its youth to highlight its fruitiness and freshness but it will age beautifully on more tertiary aromas.

DOMAINE CHAPEL

David Chapel and his American wife Michele Smith-Chapel launched Domaine Chapel with the 2016 vintage. They represent a resolutely rising star in the firmament of Beaujolais. David Chapel belongs to a family who have been friends with Marcel Lapierre for a long time. He is indeed the son of the famous Alain Chapel and had the opportunity to recover a vat of Julienas from this famous natural estate. This allowed him to put a foot in the stirrup and embark on the wine adventure in turn. They are a couple of serious winegrowers, working by hand and with a cable plow, steep parcels of Chiroubles and Fleurie, the blood, sweat and tears that are devoted to this nascent estate are beyond doubt. In short, an Estate to follow very closely.
