GIGONDAS - CLOS DES TOURELLES 2018 - FAMILLE PERRIN

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Rhone / Gigondas AOC / 15 % vol

"It's full-bodied, more robust and sturdier than the L'Argnée yet almost as silky and elegant on the extended finish." Robert Parker
The Domaine des Tourelles is located below the village of Gigondas. Its vineyard, comprising a "clos" directly attached to the property and to the village, is oriented north-west and benefits from a cool microclimate allowing late harvests, thus giving wines of unique elegance and aromatic finesse. With its characteristic aromas of violet and liquorice, its finesse and elegance, this wine is a "civilized" version of Gigondas. This single parcel cuvée made exclusively from old vines will please any Rhône wine lover.

FAMILLE PERRIN

The Maison Perrin et Fils is an iconic figure of the South Rhone Valley. The Perrin family directs the Chateau de Beaucastel vinyard with passion and is also located on some of the region's most beautiful terroirs. Jean-Pierre et François are the conductors and have also created a few years ago the remarkable Maison P&F that shines by the quality of its vintages and recognized coherence of its range.  Both those entities are implied by an almost biodynamic philosophy. The Beaucastel vineyard is organically produced, treatments are limited to its minimum and they mostly use natural compost, whereas the Maison Perrin & Fils' trading is based on the most rigorous local suppliers.
