After letting it breathe, I find in this wine everything I like in a Bordeaux: blackcurrant, red fruits, vanilla and slightly minty notes in the finish. But above all, it is all present in a subtle and complex way. Perfect balance.

It is an excellent wine. A quality-price ratio for which there is nothing to say. Subtly structured. And for amateurs (like me), the unexpected passage in oak barrels can be well detected.

To be decanted to unleash its potential. A fragrant wine, that should be first evaluated by its appearance with its magnificent ruby color. Then by its nose with the bouquet of red fruits. And finally by its palate with slightly present tannins. In addition, a beautiful appellation at this price, no hesitation!

Chateau Coucheroy, a Pessac-Leognan that I have been following for several years and that I have introduced to a large number of friends. Always the same welcome. A quality reference, very affordable for this appellation.

We drank it with our family with a plancha of meat, well it is young and deserves to age further, but what finesse, a little roundness, notes of ripe fruit, a length on the palate that calls for another sip and the music returns until the bottle is exhausted.

Wine recommended by Vinatis. We are happy to keep this for holiday meals or just Sundays. Alcohol content a little high, but the cause is the climate change!

An excellent and unmissable Pessac-Léognan even if its price tends to rise over the years. An excellent choice to enjoy as a couple or for an evening with good friends. Very pleasant to taste now, but especially if aged a little.

A Pessac-Léognan is a sure bet for Bordeaux. A wine that can be easily enjoyed. Again a big thank you to Vinatis for this discovery.

This wine was excellent and totally met my expectations. I highly recommend it for people who like Pessac-Leognan.

CHATEAU COUCHEROY

Belonging to the André Lurton house, Château Coucheroy is located in the municipalities of Martignac and Léognan, to the south of Bordeaux. The vines, on average 10 to 12 years old and growing on gravel soil with a clay subsoil, are always carefully maintained by André Lurton, an eternally emblematic figure of the Pessac-Léognan appellation, who maintains the essential link between tradition and modernity.
