LEAVE YOUR REVIEWI bought this wine without knowing it at first. A very good surprise, a well-balanced wine, sweet but not too sweet. Ideal with foie gras.
Owned for generations by the family of the inimitable Alain Brumont, Château Bouscassé has given back to appellations lacking in visibility (Madiran, Pacherenc-du-vic-Bilh) a second life. Taking advantage of the unique typicity of the Château's terroirs, the flagship grape varieties of the South-West (notably Tannat) are magnified here. Between elegance and voluptuousness, the estate thus offers remarkably precise and charming cuvées. Definitely THE reference in the wines of its appellation!
