Very good bottle (shame it was a half) that we tasted as an aperitif. A very fruity wine but with delicacy and lightness with subtle notes of flowers and fruits. I highly recommendmore reviews

A 95 from Robert Parker...at this price! Just exceptional!
This Gewürztraminer Vendanges Tardives seduces by its concentrated aromas of rose petals, spices and candied lemon, and its balanced palate revealing lovely tannins. Mellow and dense, this is a rare pearl that may be savoured with as much pleasure as ever!

DOMAINE TRIMBACH

Soon the Trimbach family will have been promoting Alsace and its history, exceptional terrors and superb wines, for four centuries. Pierre and Jean, Bernard's sons, are now the 12th generation to manage the maison on the Côtes de Hubert. Pierre moved to the maison in 1979 to look after the wine-making process, and Jean in 1985 to work on overseas sales and marketing. Anne, the eldest of the 13th generation, has just recently joined the family domaine. The Trimbach family has always had a purist vision. For 12 generations, the family has been producing dry wines that are refined and vibrant, elegant and balanced. The "Trimbach style"! They are a perfect fit with gourmet cuisine and any type of world food - spiced, Asian and Eastern. The Trimbach family leaves their wines to age in their cellar for several years before marketing them, especially for their Grands Vins such as their Riesling Cuvée Frédéric Emile.
