This is my second purchase of this admirable wine. It is neither too dry nor too sweet and gives off exotic aromas. It goes very well with grilled fish or asparagus. Top!more reviews

Its several years of maturation only amplify the aromatic complexity of this at once delicious and fine Pinot Gris!
This Pinot Gris Grand Cru has an orange-dark golden colour that reflects the small crop of the vintage and offers a concentrated and spicy bouquet of white pepper, cocoa, tobacco, orange peel and tangerine. Rich, dense, honeyed, it remains very elegant on the palate. This is a spicy, well structured and charming Pinot with a long and captivating finish. With 52 grams per litre of residual sugar, this smooth wine is the new frontier in sweet wines, though the sugar is fully integrated. An excellent Pinot Gris to appreciate over the next 10 years!

An excellent Pinot Gris from a top producer in the Alsace. The wine is old enough to discover its charms: honey, apricot and ginger. I bought several new bottles after testing the first one. Hurry up and buy it before it's gone.

At Christmas I made a plate of scallops and foie gras. The challenge was to find a wine that was neither too dry nor too sweet. This bottle was admirable and I would recommend it, if it was still available.

A Pinot Gris of great freshness and perfectly balanced, which will soften you thanks to its candied aromas of great freshness. An ideal wine to accompany foie gras and desserts!

Medium sweet with syrup sweetness throughout. Peach and apricot, mild pine quality with maple syrup and a floral honeysuckle quality on the nose. On the palate it’s dense and sweet with pear and apricot at the forefront, tangerine, hint of pineapple and a lingering sweetness. Delicious.

The quality is in line with its price. Excellent softness. At the tasting you will find citrus notes. Recommended as an aperitif or with seafood.

Leave to meditate in the cellar for a few more years. Although it is already excellent, this Pinot Grand Cru Kitterle, from the famous Alsatian domain Schlumberger, will be a real aromatic bomb on subtle sugars within five to ten years. Now we must resist...

Really good Pinot Gris.
Medium+ intensity nose of honey, white nectarine, acacia, pineapple, canned peach and hints of caramel.
Medium+ acidity, medium creamy body, medium flavour intensity, medium finish.
Good structure and great balance.

Fantastic wine !
I didn't expect it to be as good but it's absolutely fantastic and at a decent price.
Enjoy it on it's own or with cheese and fruits to make the most out of it.

DOMAINE SCHLUMBERGER

Located on the dizzying slopes of Guebwiller, in the south of Alsace, with 50° slopes and an altitude ranging from 250 to 390 metres, the Schlumberger vineyard on the mountainside is undoubtedly one of the most striking in Alsace. It has the great privilege of benefiting from a triple exposure to the sun: south-west, south, south-east. Guebwiller is the only commune in Alsace to boast 4 Grands Crus. Half of our vineyard, i.e. 70 hectares, is made up of these unique terroirs.
