LEAVE YOUR REVIEWA very good wine. This Trousseau is very light and can be enjoyed both as an aperitif and as a main course. The fruit flavours are very clear, and I recommend it.
Nice aromas of red fruits, crushed strawberries and spices on the nose. On the palate it's quite supple, still fruity. Still a bit young to find the undergrowth notes characteristic of Trousseau.
Awesome wine for the price. Light, good acidity, notes of red fruits, a lot of freshness. This is really my type and I would recommend for anyone who isn't into highly extracted wines
A clean & charming Jura. It may not have the ethereal qualities and weightless depth of the very best Jura Trousseau, but it is excellent value, authentic without being too 'funky' and would make a good introduction to the area... Recommended !
I like Jura a lot, but this Trosseau, wasn't my favorite. It laked of the typical acidity and personality from Jura, felt a bit too sweet, dominated by candy notes. I bet some people will love it, not me.
With its 65 hectares of vines, Domaine Rolet et Fils is one of the largest in the Jura. The excellent reputation of its wines in France and abroad has done a lot of good for the appellation and its region. Created in 1940, the estate has been passed down from generation to generation, sharing all the decisive positions, from the vineyard to the cellar, including commercial responsibilities. Thanks to its own style, combining classic craftsmanship and good technical mastery, Rolet et Fils has become an essential reference for Jura wines!
