Excellent, impressive and a very nice surprise. The stock was exhausted quite quickly which seems logical to me. Vinatis should offer other wines from Suertes del Marqués.more reviews

"It is juicy and accessible but with complexity and freshness on the palate, harmonious, elegant and very tasty" R. Parker
This wine comes from a variety of vineyards aged from 10 to 200 years and at altitudes between 300 and 700 metres. This wine is a "super volcano", by this I mean smoked, grilled, and marked by the terroirs of Tenerife. This magnificent aromatic profile is unique, rare and characteristic of the region. The wine requires some aeration to open fully, but then offers a captivating nose, very precise, a wine with great accuracy. Fruit is omnipresent and we cannot perceive the wood. It starts off clearly with lots of freshness and crisp and ripe fruit. The flesh is generous and particularly fine. Throughout the tasting, the wine shows beautiful energy; it is an unforgettable experience!

A really tasty wine where black pepper dominates in a rare elegance. A supple wine with fine tannins but invaluable length. Beautiful final freshness, ideal for meats eaten raw such as tartare or carpaccio.

Good wine, good value for money. Excellent Spanish product. Very pleasant wine on the palate, I recommend, really delicious, very strong and powerful aromas.

Very nice discovery of this natural wine. We first have a small smell of sulfur on the nose, which gradually, with aeration, disappears. Very well balanced, fresh wine, with a finality that tends towards peppery notes.

An excellent bottle for an affordable price. Used to powerful but sometimes unbalanced Spanish wines, this was a real surprise. I recommend.

Extremely interesting wine from Tenerife island.
Medium+ intensity nose of white pepper, ash, rubber, raspberry, gun smoke, wild strawberry and earthy notes.
Medium+ acidity, medium- body with medium silky tannins, medium+ flavour intensity and medium- salty finish.
Must be decanted 1-3 hours.

The key to the excellence of the Suertes Del Marquès estate, certainly the most fascinating vineyard in the Canaries. A marvel of precision, a sommelier's wine at a bargain price, I will immediately put a few bottles in the cellar.

SUERTES DEL MARQUES

The estate was created in 2006, it was created by Jonatan Garcia Lima and Roberto Santana and is located on the island of Tenerife (Canary Islands), in the heart of the Orotava Valley appellation, a prestigious wine-growing area. The 9-hectare vineyard is made up of century-old vines planted in braided cord (an endogenous size of the region), is located between 350 and 700 meters above sea level on the volcanic slopes of the north of the island. The main part of the estate is made up of centuries-old vines of Listán Negro and Listán Blanco. The rest of the vineyard is made up of indigenous grape varieties (Castellana, Tintilla, Baboso Negro, Albillo). Today there are 21 plots identified according to the nature of their soils, their orientations, their altitudes and their climates. Each plot is vinified separately to give a unique personality to each of the cuvées. The work of the vines is carried out manually in respect and tradition in order to obtain a clean and healthy harvest. The vinification is done in a natural way without chemical intervention or additives. The wines are of a rare purity, one should not miss these wonders typified by the beauty of their terroirs.
