CHAMBOLLE MUSIGNY LES VEROILLES 2018 - DOMAINE BRUNO CLAIR

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Burgundy / Chambolle-Musigny AOC / 13 % vol / 100% Pinot noir

A beautifully balanced and very harmonious Chambolle-Musigny!
Magnificent fruity flesh, great clarity of structure and texture, a domaine acclaimed by the critics. There is no shortage of praise for Bruno Clair's estate and this is confirmed when you have the pleasure of tasting one of his wines. Les Véroilles reveals Chambolle in all its sensuality through a rich fruit and a pulpy substance. A must-have for your cellar!

DOMAINE BRUNO CLAIR

Bruno Clair founded the vineyard which bears his name in 1979. A few parcels of Marsannay and Fixin, La Dominode in Savigny-les-Beaune and a large wasteland in Morey-Saint-Denis in the locality ¨En la rue de Vergy¨ formed most of the nascent farm. In 1986, Bruno was entrusted with the vines of his parents, brothers and sisters (Clos de Bèze, Cazetiers, Clos St-Jacques, Vosne-Romanée, Clos du Fonteny, Chambolle-Musigny). New vines were added to the operation in 1993 (Corton-Charlemagne, Pernand-Vergelesses and Aloxe-Corton) and in 1996 (Gevrey-Chambertin Petite Chapelle) to bring the area of the estate to more than 23 hectares. Bernard Clair, meanwhile, also leaves his mark with a remarkable work of selecting and marking the finest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay plants. His long quest unfortunately ended in 2005 but allowed the constitution of an inestimable heritage of fine and not very productive plants which today benefits a new generation of Burgundian winegrowers.
