LEAVE YOUR REVIEWI was very fond of this Morillon Blanc produced in 2018. The 2019 edition is less round and rich, but you can still taste butter, pear and peach. Price/quality ratio is excellent.
Complex. Hints of vanilla due to the barrel fermentation with some fruity (pineapple and peach). Very unctuous, almost fatty-like. My type of wine for sure.
Full-bodied, high-alcohol, ripe, aromatic, oaked warm-climate Chardonnay. Indeed almost off-dry, with aromas of honey, dried fruit, and tropical fruit. Interesting, but not really a gastronomic wine, nor very elegant.
"Eclectic winemaker", this is how Jeff Carrel defines himself. This oenologist, who can turn his hand to anything spreads his adivices in the vineyards, as well as in the winery or marketing strategy. In 2007 he sets up his own consulting firm in identity communication to assist wineries to enhance their specific features and productions. He then builds a very specific wine range with strong personality.
