MONDEUSE - LE PIED DE LA BARME 2018 - DOMAINE SAINT-GERMAIN

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Savoy-Bugey / Savoie AOC / 12 % vol / 100% Mondeuse

AB (organic wine) EU organic farming
The Saint Germain domaine still dazzles us with a beautiful Mondeuse, tasty and balanced!
An elegant and intense change of scene in the mountains! Thanks to its southern exposure, the sun-drenched grapes create a very fruity, spicy and elegant wine, with a broad and well-rounded palate. On the nose, there are aromas reminiscent of strawberry, raspberry and blackcurrant as well as violet and iris, nuances that will develop intensively during ageing. With its discreet and silky tannins, this Mondeuse will be your best ally to share with friends over local dishes!

DOMAINE SAINT-GERMAIN

Raphaël and Etienne perpetuate the tradition left by their fathers and uncles within a 10 hectare estate located in the heart of Savoy, in the Regional Natural Park of Bauges. The Domaine is certified in organic agriculture and cultivates many grape varieties. Among them, the traditional Savoyard grape varieties such as Jacquère, Altesse, Mondeuse and Persan, but also Chardonnay and Gamay. It is an estate that contributes to the influence of the Savoy region thanks to high quality wines.
