Having taken over the estate from his father, Lucien, in 1992, Henri Lurton implemented the fruits of his extensive training and his experience in vineyards across the world. His family's connection with this place was formed by his great-grandfather in 1922. Having weathered generous and more modest years, strong and weak economic conditions, the family remains faithful to the well-defined style that has not been altered by various trends. Château Brane-Cantenac built its name on the 80-hectare vineyard, split into several parcels. One of them, the largest, is located in front of the château and borders the fine hilltop of the Graves appellation.
