LEAVE YOUR REVIEWIt has an astringent character at the moment... Propably because of its youth! Medium nose and body! Aromas of strawberry, cranberries, rose & earth! Mineral & tannic at the end! Not bad and with beautiful label! Give it somemore time!
Once opened, it needs to breath and decants. Once you have done that, it is a great wine to start the night. Easy mellow notes and not too much tannin on the palets.
My favorite Italian appellation. Tasted on pasta with truffles, it is powerful, with aromas of undergrowth and black fruits. The tannins are melted and the length in the mouth is exceptional. At this price, it is unmissable, especially as the guard will undoubtedly improve it.
A powerful wine with character, aromas of forest fruits are in the spotlight, in the mouth the length is essential for an unequaled exaltation of the taste buds. Excellent value for money, thank you Vinatis
Intense garnet colour. On the nose aromas of black fruits. A beautiful length on the palate with refined tannins: a treat that has a great ageing potential!
Excellent, a wine that keeps all of its promises. A wine that you can forget for a few more years in your cellar, its potential will allow it to age.
If you like wines with character, this wine will delight you. It recalls the flavors of Italy, all in flavor and power. Its strength contrasted with its sweet notes makes it a treat.
Lightly tiled garnet colour. Menthol nose, morello cherry, almond, leather, toasted notes, oak, truffle. High acidity but powerful and drying tannins, which gives a nice balance. Perfect with meat with truffles.
Very typical of the appellation, with good red fruit, good structure and length on the palate. The nose is flattering, and this Barolo can probably be cellared for another ten years.
A first for me with this grape variety, a nice experience even if this bottle would deserve a little patience in the cellar. Powerful on the palate, with expressive tannins and an interesting length.
A great surprise! At the same time balanced and powerful. Its aromas of red fruit, undergrowth and anis notes combined with high but fine tannins make it a pure treat. It was perfect with cheese and truffle ravioli.
An elegant wine that really differenciate from the Italian classics. It is a nice surprise. A beautiful ruby color with a lot of fullness on the palate. Very good balance of tannins.
After thirty years of experience among the largest Italian estates, Carlo Revello embarked on his own project in 2016 alongside his wife Paola and his sons. The cellar is located in La Morra, in the heart of the Langhe. The wines faithfully reflect the local terroir, from the freshness of Barbera to the powerful tannins of Barolo. Their stylistic approach is more modern, it consists in pushing the maturity of the bunches in order to acquire more phenolic substance (the famous tannins). The key to refining this dense and well-processed material is to practice long ageing in wood of large containers, which ensures an acceptable young drinkability and which allows them to age without problem.
