An astounding wine of amazing quality for the price!
Boldness and genius for a result that's 100% pleasure. The boldness that we salute today is the successful union of two grapes: Tannat, grown in France's South-West, and Merlot, the world-renowned Bordeaux variety. To put them together is to offer a power that is abundantly rounded thanks to the aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, prune, liquorice, pepper and spices. The year of tank maturation allows the grape and the terroir to express themselves, giving a wine full of delicacy and depth. Colourful and alluring, light and dainty, this Vin de Pays produced by Alain Brumont, renowned for the great quality of his wines, offers a fuss-free discovery. A characterful, low-priced red that will bring pleasure to the table on every occasion. Here is a very nice cuvée of the kind we'd like to come across more often!

The 2019 cuvée is a success. Just like 2018, we find the terroir and the character of the South-West! Always this good quality / price ratio which allows to do and have fun.

I knew Brumont with this grape variety. I had a bottle left over from 2009. So good that I ordered twelve bottles. Fruity and round, but with body.

Good red wine with a very good value for money. Very pretty red label. Very pleasant and slightly tannic wine on the palate, loaded with sunshine.

Surprising wine at the first tasting, the Tannat grape variety certainly gives it a slightly "harsh" taste but ultimately pleasant. Perfect accompaniment for game or spicy cheese.

Very tannic, very dark in color, forgetting it for 1 or 2 years can soften it and bring out more aromas and fruit. So we have to be patient! For now to drink with meats in sauce or game.

Rather disappointed by this Côtes de Gascogne which is sorely lacking in character. Even if the notes of red fruits are very present, it lacks all the roundness and the sun usually present on this type of vine and which make it its main characteristics.

I had the opportunity to taste the ALAIN BRUMONT white, which was divine by the way. So I let myself be tempted by the red and strangely enough the pleasure was the same. A very good table wine.
