RASTEAU - LES VALATS 2016 - ALAIN JAUME

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Rhone wine / Rasteau AOC / 14 % vol

AB (organic wine) EU organic farming
"Formidable, but in a good way, with tasty tannins framing the dark flavours and lingering on the finish. Perfect. " R. Parker
With a deep purple colour, this Rasteau reveals succulent aromas of candied fruits such as currants and blackberries. It offers a beautiful tannic richness that perfectly combines with a very generous and solar side specific to the expertise of the Alain Jaume vineyards. The finish is long on notes of pepper, menthol and chocolate: a delight!

DOMAINE GRAND VENEUR - ALAIN JAUME

Since 1826, the Jaume family decided to cultivate the vines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, but it is above all since 1979, thanks to Alain Jaume, that the estate has experienced a real boom, with the creation of the Grand Veneur estate. Covering 78 hectares on both sides of the Rhône, the family produces Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Vacqueyras and Lirac. Benefiting from one of the most beautiful terroirs in the region, the children, Sébastien and Christophe, take up the torch with dignity, working to ensure the prosperity of the estate through sustainable cultivation and meticulous work resulting in rich and powerful wines, but not devoid of finesse.
