LEAVE YOUR REVIEWA very powerful Burgundy Pinot Noir, without sacrificing any elegance. Fairly well concentrated and still extremely young and fresh, even though it's "only" a village.
Elegant, classic PN. Powerful, but refined. Cranberries, dark cherries, wild strawberries, earth and herbal notes. Really smooth and silky. If you enjoy lighter red wine from France then this is a good option. The Pinot Noir grape produces excellent less dense red wine and this is a good example but not the best but you will have to pay more fore the finest examples. Worth keeping for a few years to enhance the mellow edge.
It is characterised by rich, fruity aromas and a powerful mouthfeel but still retains a certain finesse. It went wonderfully well alongside the tasting of a beef bourguignon.
