LEAVE YOUR REVIEWExcellent Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru. Medium ruby appearance with aromas of red fruits (cherry, raspberry). Drinking nicely now but sure to benefit from some time in the cellar.
Since 1990, Olivier Guyot has managed the 15 hectares of small parcels spread over the Marsannay-la-Côte in Gevrey-Chambertin. He adopts the ‘traditional' methods of vine cultivation to do the best for nature and produce the most authentic wines possible. He employs horse-drawn ploughs and remains faithful to the grand gestures of wine-making and ageing. His beautiful old vine heritage allows him to work with a wide range of cultivars and to make each of the Burgundy terroir exemplars.
