DEMI-BOTTLE LAGRAVE-MARTILLAC 2017 - SECOND WINE OF CHATEAU LATOUR-MARTILLAC

Red Wine / France / Bordeaux / Pessac-Léognan AOC / 13,5 % vol

Sophisticated and seductive, this very fine second wine is a top deal you mustn't miss for anything!!!
Lagrave-Martillac is the second wine from the Château Latour-Martillac (Graves Grand Cru Classé since 1953). The red version was created in 1986 and the white in 1990. Made from a plot selection, the second wine has the advantage of the same level of care as the main wine! With its deep purple-red hue, the nose of this vintage releases notes of very ripe dark fruits. The attack on the palate is mellow and structured... The wine develops through well-enveloped tannins with a lovely smoothness and concentration on the finish, giving hope of an excellent age ahead... A top deal in this very great second wine!!!

CHÂTEAU LATOUR-MARTILLAC

Château Latour-Martillac is the result of a long single-family heritage and has become one of the reference wines of Pessac-Léognan. Selected in 1934 to accompany George VI's coronation banquet, it hasn't lost any of its prestige since, thanks to its intense, highly fruity and spiced wines. A reference wine not to be missed!
