CHATEAU TOUR SIEUJAN 2014

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Bordeaux / Pauillac AOC / 13 % vol

A very interesting nectar, rewarded by the Hachette Guide, which highlights the excellent work of a very nice Pauillac!
A great Pauillac, both with its deep purple colour, with thousands of sparkling cherry highlights, and its powerful black fruit aromas (blackcurrant, blackberry, blueberry), finished with vanilla wood, spice and grilled notes. In perfect harmony with the bouquet, the palate has silky and velvety tannins, evolving with strength, or rather wealth, accompanied by well-integrated wood. A beautiful freshness gives it tension, length and potential. A beautiful bottle!

CHATEAU TOUR SIEUJAN

Château Tour Sieujean is a family winery located in the town of Saint-Laurent-du-Médoc, in the south-west of the Pauillac appellation. Its vines cover 8 hectares in Pauillac and in the Haut-Médoc. This estate is one of the very last estates with a family dimension among the many Grands Crus of Pauillac - there are 18 in total and represent 85% of the area of the appellation. The 10th century feudal tower watches over this vineyard, planted on sumptuous gravelly hilltops and worked like a garden. The mild temperatures and the sunshine due to the local microclimate allow the vines of Château Tour Sieujean to reach good maturity to produce wines for laying down. The Château works the vines and produces wines with respect for the Médoc tradition.
