LEAVE YOUR REVIEWAn amazing red, I've become a real fan of punchy fruity Spanish Reds. The palate has a real sense of purity to it, with the tangy acidity highlighting the bright, dark-fruit tones. La Peña expresses all the freshness of the Mediterranean.
This is an excellent offering from one of my favourite regions. Very complex and well balanced. Has deep fruits and wild berries on the nose with a great full finish.
Really good one. Well balanced, nice black and red fruits, medium body with rounded tannins and long aftertaste. Great quality per price. Definitely recommended!
I really enjoy Spanish reds and this is no exception. On the nose I can smell multiple layers of dark berries, black currant and blueberry sweetness, with smoke, and cloves. Tannins and acid hit my tongue on first taste and create a beautiful creamy oak finish. For the price - totally worth the buy
Drunk with friends on the go with sausage, cheese and bread. Frankly an excellent quality / price ratio! What amazed me the most is the finesse of its tannins, especially for a Spanish wine!
Bodegas El Angosto is owned by the Cambra family, located in Santa Rosa. The vineyard is worked in a reasoned way (by limiting any use of chemicals) and harvested by hand. The estate's vines are spread over two separate properties: Santa Rosa and El Angosto. These are sloping terroirs, with sandy soils, poor in organic matter and with a lot of limestone. This environment is ideal for the development of the vine in depth from the root. The wines produced are of rare elegance and concentration for such prices. The press around the world embraces the great value of these superb wines.
