Quite nice blend from Haut-Medoc. Plum, dark cherries, cedar, smoke and hints of chocolate. Good acidity, medium body with round tannins and medium finish.
Paired nicely with a cheese platter but it will be good with red meat also.

Winner of a gold medal at the Concours de Bordeaux, discover this splendid fruit-accented Haut-Médoc in an exceptional vintage!!!
Benefiting from a magnificent Graves terroir in the Haut-Médoc, the Château Moulinat has developed a philosophy of responsible winegrowing employing chemical-limiting agricultural practices. Winner of a gold medal in Bordeaux, this vintage is immediately eye-catching with its beautiful, deepish appearance. After an engaging, fruity nose (cherry, raspberry, blackberry), the palate is fresh, with supple tannins in which the dark fruit fragrances display wonderful length... A very fine Haut-Médoc to try with a piece of meat...

Strong on the nose but subtle, fruity taste this is a fine Medoc. Dark berries to the taste with a very smooth flavour and texture. Highly enjoyable drinking

very good, solid Haut-Medoc. A quality claret, best paired with red meat or game and perfect for a Sunday roast. Would also suit Italian cuisine and cheese board.

CHATEAU DU MOULINAT

The Château du Moulinat is located equidistant between the towns of Cussac-Fort-Médoc and Lamarque, which border the Gironde estuary. This wine estate, which is located between the famous Margaux and Saint-Julien crus, benefits from a magnificent terroir of Graves in the Haut-Médoc. Roger Kopp acquired this chateau as well as two other neighboring wine estates in the 1950s. His entrepreneurial desire and the development efforts of his son Gérard, who succeeded him, made it possible to transform this Domaine into a modern tool quick to shape quality wines. Hélène Kopp, who represents the third generation, joined the operation as a cellar worker in 1996. Her determination made her occupy all positions until now managing the operation in addition to the Château du Retout with her husband Frédéric Soual. Their sustainable farming practices reflect a responsible viticultural philosophy, and each time offer more than accomplished wines.
