LEAVE YOUR REVIEWA wine to be savoured now, to enjoy the pleasure of the fruit, at its peak in its youth. Ideal as an aperitif with some fine pork.
A tender and suave wine from an advantageous appellation based on pinot noir and gamay that is velvety in the mouth. In short, a charming wine, dangerously good.
Excellent wine to accompany a meal with friends. We found it light and fruity and our guests enjoyed it very much. We like to drink a glass of wine as an aperitif as well, so this is also suitable for that. We recommend it.
The "Maison Albert Bichot" was founded in 1831 by Bernard Bichot and it was his grandson, Albert, who gave it a new awakening at the end of the 19th century. Since 1996, the management of the Maison has been ensured by the sixth generation in the person of Albéric Bichot. The house has 100 hectares of vines which are exploited in a sustainable way, supplemented by purchases of grapes and musts. The estate has completely transformed its approach to growing vines, by pruning shorter, working the soil (plowing) and green harvesting when necessary, leaving only 6 bunches per vine. The house has an impressive range of Grands Crus and Premiers Crus. Those from the Côte de Nuits are vinified and aged at the Clos Frantin estate. Those of the Côte de Beaune are at the Domaine du Pavillon.
