Gold Medallist in Lyon, this Château Pierron is a "small" Bordeaux at incredible value for money!!!
Château Pierron at the time was part of a small hamlet that has now disappeared... It is characterised by controlled yields, a healthy harvest and good maturity... With an intense red colour with ruby highlights, it exudes aromas of ripe fruit, and red fruits. On the palate it is an easy wine to drink, fruity and fresh. At this price and with so many benefits, this Château Pierron is a deal NOT to miss out on for your daily meals!

It's a very good Bordeaux - at a very good price. A great wine to drink with meat. I'll buy it again. I'm very pleased with this choice of wine.

Floral fragrance with the addition of baked apple, leather and cattle. Taste: blueberry, unripe blackcurrant, cherry stone ,a little oak and spices. Expressionless tannins. Short berry-fruit aftertaste. Light, well-balanced, but somewhat empty. You can, for every day, but no more.

The fruitiness appears on the nose and extends onto the palate. Pure tasting pleasure. Especially at this reasonable price well below the quality of this wine. If you don't like tannic wines, give this one a try. You won't regret this purchase.

A decent Bordeaux blend table wine. Very dry and a bit acidic for my liking, but still enjoyed with a bowl of spaghetti and meatballs. Notes of plum, raspberry, cherry, black currant and leather.

Pretty basic wine, ok for the price, but probably best served with food. I only tried one bottle, so there's a possibility of some inconsistency, judging by the presence of so many strong reviews here.

Really nice Bordeaux blend.
Medium(+) intensity nose of red cherry, red plum, raspberry, blackcurrant and hints of earthy notes.

Medium (+) acidity, medium body with medium slightly dry tannins, medium flavour intensity and medium fruity finish.
Nice structure and really good balance. Great QPR.

A lovely wine to drink as it is, with cheese or meat. Its great fruity flavours are very pleasant on the palate - all for a great price. It has personality but can still age more.

Punchy, very good flavours in this wine. I recommend it for every meal. Very fruity and lovers of this kind of wine will enjoy it. My advice is to open it a few hours beforehand - a delight.

Pierron is an excellent, very sweet, fruity wine. My sister asks for it every day. It's amazing value for money and I'm telling all my friends about it.

Perfect wine to share with friends.
A beautiful colour. It looks like a red fruit compote and tastes similarly. perfect for a sunny afternoon lunch with friends

A fairly pleasant wine, needs >10 min rest to silence acidity and tannin a trifle, upon which gains a smooth Bordelaise tail, albeit with no particular accent.

A very meaty red, had it one wet, cold night. A very warming wine with a soothing aftertaste. It just slides down your throat. I would say it will go well with a nice rare steak.

Fruity. Not too dry, but not sweet.Very enjoyable, with a rounded balance of tannins and acidity. Moderate body, very smooth finish. First impression was of a younger wine, but it gets better after resting for several minutes, it settles well.

For a really good price - less than 5 Euro - this wine is very enjoyable throughout a meal, from the starter to dessert. It goes well with good steak or strawberries.

Surprise! I was looking for a wine for every day drinking - and at this price! It's a full-bodied, velvety wine that's very pleasant and the equal of some superior wines. So I'm reordering and recommending it.

CHATEAU PIERRON

This Château is part of a small hamlet that previously disappeared and is characterized by controlled yields, a healthy harvest and good maturity. Right in the heart of the Bordeaux appellation, it is one of those pretty estates that deserve to be even more recognized!
