Discover the new range of the Cave de Tain, the Héritiers Gambert have arrived and we are not disappointed!!
Of all the appellations, Crozes-Hermitage is undoubtedly the great speciality of the Cave de Tain: it alone produces nearly 50% of the appellation. It derives from it a particularly fresh and fruity red, with intense aromas and delicate red fruit, black fruit and spices. We love the beautiful fullness on the palate, letting ourselves be overcome by its remarkable generosity and succumbing to its long and fresh finish of blackcurrant, violet and oriental spices. A great success by the Cave de Tain!

Nice Syrah!
Medium(+) intensity nose of black cherry, vanilla, dark chocolate, sour cherry, berry jam, plum, smoke and hints of cinnamon.
Medium(+) acidity, medium+ body with medium+ round tannins, medium+ flavour intensity and medium(+) finish.
Quite good structure, balance and ageing potential.

Although 2018 is a good vintage, it remains young. The wine is well balanced with moderate tannins and some taste of blackberries, blueberries and a bit of cocoa.

the wine benefitted from decanting and opened up beautifully. Well rounded ripe fruit with an intense bouquet and a long finish. It is a very accomplished wine at a very good price point.

CAVE DE TAIN

Cave de Tain was founded in 1933 by Louis Gambert de Loche. It is located between Valence and Lyon, at the foot of the Hermitage hill. And it is in the heart of this historic Côtes-du-Rhône vineyard that 4 generations of men with the same passion for great wines continue to develop and market 5 crus and Vins de Pays on more than 1000 hectares of vines, their appellations. being Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, Cornas and Saint-Péray. For all these years, a single watchword has been present in everyone's mind: DOING WELL! Very early on, the Cave de Tain brought together winegrowers and employees in a process of Sustainable Development. This year, it is celebrating 10 years of sincere, enthusiastic and concrete commitment, with the ambition of reducing its impact on the environment and ensuring the sustainability of the profession of its winegrowers. A real success! This is why today it is clearly one of the main wine producers in the northern Rhône Valley... It is with great pleasure that the Vinatis team follows their references vintage after vintage, thus allowing you to find them on your tables!
