BERNKASTELER BADSTUBE AUSLESE ** 2017 GC - MARKUS MOLITOR

0,75 L White Wine / Germany / Mosel / Riesling / 10,5 % vol / 100% Riesling

"An amazing wine (...) its clarity and crisp character makes it incredible! (...) It is very elegant and well structured combining maturity, concentration and finesse incredibly well. " R. Parker
A Riesling with a pretty sharp, fresh and delicate bouquet with aromas of bright fruit. On the palate it is stretched, fresh and mineral in a "Demi Sec" style without excess! This is really complete: it gives you all the fruit and the freshness you expect, and more. A long and fairly complex finish that aspires to great potential!!

MARKUS MOLITOR

In 1984, when he was just 20 years old, Markus Molitor took over the reins of the family-owned winery, which at the time spanned 7.5 acres. Despite his young age, he cultivated a clearly defined and ambitious vision: to give back to the wines of the Moselle valley their letters of nobility, thanks to the typical Rieslings faithful to the identity of their vineyard of origin (terroir) and to their extraordinary longevity. Meticulous work carried out in the vineyard and cellar - without any compromise - as well as an absolute respect for the grapes and the wine constitute his guidelines. He wants his wines to have structure and depth and that they reveal a beautiful freshness as well as a magnificent radiance, all characteristics typical of the wines of the Moselle valley and which allow them today to appear among the best notes from Robert Parker's guide. These wines are distinguished in 3 categories: White Capsule: dry white, Green Capsule: demi-sec Gold Capsule: sweet.
