Very good, dry but not too much, developed on citrus aromas. We understand why it is Hachette's favourite. Tasted yesterday, better as an aperitif than with salmon, could have been kept for a few years.more reviews

Praised by the Hachette Wine Guide 2020 as a favourite of the jury, this Riesling Grand Cru is an Alsace wonder!
Rosacker is a limestone terroir with deep soils on which the grapes ripen slowly and surely. It is on the same terroir that the famous Clos Saint Hune is produced. This Riesling Grand Cru by the Eblin-Fuchs Domaine offers a wonderful expression both of this magic terroir and the Riesling varietal. It has great finesse and superb freshness. The ripe citrus flavours are nuanced with a touch of mint. You will love its intensity, minerality and long saline finish. It is really a great Riesling!

Very fruity dry wine, slightly sweet, tasted with oysters, a little wonder! I will reorder a few more bottles to keep them, but it is already top!

Really good biodynamic, Grand Cru Riesling from Alsace.
Medium+ intensity nose of green apple , peach , apricot , lemon grapefruit , ginger, lemon zest and brioche.
Medium+ acidity, medium body, medium+ flavour intensity, long mineral finish.
Great structure with good balance but still too young!

EBLIN-FUCHS

Very old wine-growing families, Eblin and Fuchs have been linked since 1956 following the marriage of Marie Madeleine Fuchs and Henri Joseph Eblin. The Eblin family tree dates back to 1294, when the coat of arms was deposited. That of the Fuchs, since 1615, date of their installation as winegrowers in Zellenberg. Following the union of the current successor, Christian Eblin with Laurence Leininger, herself descendant of a family of winegrowers established in Hunawihr for several generations. The geological range of the estate was expanded in 2006, with several plots of marl-limestone compositions, including the most famous Rosacker and Muelforst in Hunawihr and Mandelberg in Mittelwihr.
