Burgundy wine / Meursault Premier Cru AOC / 13,5 % vol

MEURSAULT 1ER CRU LES CHARMES 2016 - CHATEAU DE MEURSAULT

0,75 L Burgundy wine / Meursault Premier Cru AOC / 13,5 % vol

Generous, luxuriant flavours in this Meursault Premier Cru!
This Premier Cru with its bright yellow-gold hue develops fatness and richness while making room for a palate that establishes itself with voluminous structure in the attack. A touch of alluring minerality adds nuance to the walnut, pear and baked citrus zest aromas, and a lovely balance is discernible before delicacy resumes its place to guide the finish, which rests on a beautiful tension...

CHATEAU DE MEURSAULT

The Château de Meursault is a piece of history, its origin dates back to the 11th century. Its wine-growing part was only developed in the 19th century by the Serre family. Since then, it has been a mecca for tourism and Burgundian folklore, since every year the famous Paulée is celebrated there the day after the sale of the Hospices de Beaune. The estate was bought in 2012 by Olivier Halley, a descendant of a pioneer of large retailers, the Boisseaux family remaining the owner of the 60 hectare vineyard, 23 of which are first growths. The estate offers a wide range of appellations from the Côte de Beaune: Pommard, Puligny, Savigny, Beaune, Meursault...
