A perfect wine for a nice rib steak or duck breast. Velvety in the mouth, with an after-taste that has hints of vanilla. Very good!more reviews

A little jewel from Uruguay that will surprise you with the intensity of its aromas! A lovely surprise from Latin America to share without delay!!!
There are grapes that find their preferred soil far from their native land. The proof is the Tannat of Uruguay! A terroir that allows the grapes to acquire elegant, powerful and very intense aromas of red and dark fruits! The Bodega Garzon builds wines with a silky, delicious and slightly menthol finish, softening the Tannat...Try a wine from Uruguay that will delight the most delicate taste buds...An excellent tasting experience!!!

Uruguay! Here's a wine made from a grape variety I knew nothing about. What a lovely surprise! I have to say, South American wines are turning out to be a great surprise!

I bought this wine out of curiosity, knowing nothing about wines from Uruguay. I drank it with friends, and we all loved it. Rounded, lengthy on the palate, and a real pleasure.

Deep colour, typical of Tannat grape. Intense nose of red and black fruits, especially strawberries, candied finish. Some herbal notes and pepper. A fruity, fresh and delicious wine, less severe and complex than a classic Madiran.

Bottle bought to try as interested in the grape variety as well as its provenance. No regrets about this purchase - a lovely find that may not be everyone's taste.

A very good wine. It deserves to be forgotten about in the cellar for a few years or to be tasted immediately, after a long aeration in a decanter. This Tannat Reserva is an ideal accompaniment for meats with character. It has intense notes of ripe fruits and jam.

What a great find. Tannat as a grape is very interesting.
Very nice cedar nuance, additionally black fruit, cherry and cranberry. Deep purtple in color. Needs some air or decant.

This is a lovely red wine. We enjoy tannat wine and this is top class. We first had it in a plush restaurant in London and was thrilled to find it on Vinatis, and at a fraction of the price. Well worth giving it a go. Deep and rich to taste

This was a strange choice--never had a wine from Uruguay. The Tannat grape produced a strong, complex wine tasting different, but in a good way, from a Shiraz or a Barola. Great wine for showing off to friends who think they know a lot!

I bought this wine out of curiosity and I have to say, I haven't been disappointed. I tasted this Latin American wine with a nice chilli con carne. I recommend it, guaranteed!
