LEAVE YOUR REVIEWNice one!
Medium+ intensity nose of blackberry, ripe plum, forest fruit jam, vanilla, smoke and chocolate.
Medium acidity, medium+ body with medium round tannins, medium+ flavour intensity, medium finish.
Quite good structure and balance!
This featured in a family Zoom meeting over Christmas. The idea was that 8 people would sample the same 4 wines in an online tasting session! It worked very well. This was a great favourite. "Canny" as one contributor from Newcastle said. Full of body and flavour.
A simple and understated wine with a lovely balance and smoothness. The taste of berries and spices go well with any Italian dish as it is not overpowering.
Teanum Cantina is located in the Apulia region (Puglia) in San Paolo di Civitate. The name of the domain comes from an ancient Roman city "Teanum Apulum" which already ran this exceptional terroir. Facing the Adriatic Sea, lulled by the trade winds, the area now operates more than 120 hectares of vineyards, primarily on Italian grape varieties such as Montepulciano, Agliainico, Primitivo, Negroamaro for the red wines or the Bombino, Falanghina, Trebbiano and Malvasia for white wines.
