LEAVE YOUR REVIEWQuite interesting Negroamaro. Medium(+) intensity nose of blackcurrant, plum, strawberry jam and hints of cured meat.
Medium(+) acidity, medium body with medium silky tannins, high alcohol, medium flavour intensity, medium finish. Acceptable structure, but unbalanced!
Fruity, a little bit acidic, but not cloying like so many reds these days that have had all the character bled out of them. Have had some interesting Cantine Teanum wines from Vinatis. All well worth it so far.
Teanum Cantina is located in the Apulia region (Puglia) in San Paolo di Civitate. The name of the domain comes from an ancient Roman city "Teanum Apulum" which already ran this exceptional terroir. Facing the Adriatic Sea, lulled by the trade winds, the area now operates more than 120 hectares of vineyards, primarily on Italian grape varieties such as Montepulciano, Agliainico, Primitivo, Negroamaro for the red wines or the Bombino, Falanghina, Trebbiano and Malvasia for white wines.
