Exemplary value for money by Gérard Bertrand!
The talent of Gérard Bertrand is in his ability to produce wines of very high quality, regardless of the price range. This Languedoc Syrah-Grenache is the perfect example: each grape variety, manually and separately harvested, reveals complex ripe red fruit, with notes of liquorice and earth. A real explosion of fruits to taste straightaway!

A good straightforward southern French red wine, worth rather more than I paid. A very impressive purchase for this newcomer to the world of reviewing wine! Very drinkable and enjoyable.
