LEAVE YOUR REVIEWFor me, Margaux is one of the best wines that Bordeaux has to offer. Very pronounced aromas and a lightness that allows you to enjoy this product from the first glass to the last. A big yes!
A very good surprise that I had the opportunity to taste for the new year. A fruity taste with pleasant spicy notes in the company of a good piece of meat. Excellent value for money. Can't wait to recommend a bottle.
This Margaux second wine from Château Prieuré Lichine has a beautiful violet, almost black colour. Its aromas evoke flowers, red fruits and spices. On the finish, notes of leather appear. A real treat.
Nice bottle. This wine will delight all lovers of Margaux. Ideal to accompany meat. Excellent value for money. I recommend and will reorder it!
In my quick search for a Margaux I came across this one and bought it without much enthusiasm despite the James Suckling rating. Well, it was a nice surprise! Multiple pronounced red fruits in the mouth. I should have put it in the cellar for another 2 or 3 years!
Second wine of the château, a beautiful colour, a nice nose, but still a little too strong in taste, deserves to wait a little longer in the cellar to be able to taste it at its best.
I have never been disappointed by a Châteauneuf du Pape. Accompanied by a good Savoyard fondue. The tannins are present but leaves a second taste of fruit. No regrets
The Prieuré-Lichine vineyard is located not far from Château Margaux. Its terroir comprises a gravelly soil and a high proportion of Merlot grapes. The wines have a dark purple hue and develop aromas of blackcurrant and raspberry. They are smooth and keep for many years. A Bordeaux to try as soon as you can!
