LEAVE YOUR REVIEWVery fruity, spicy and pleasant light Malbec from Cahors with lots of plum and dark forest fruits. Dark in the glass. Pleasant creaminess. The finish is unfortunately much too short.
A Cahors with an interesting quality to price ratio. Rather fresh, with notes of ripe fruit, undergrowth and mentholated nuances. On the palate, a nice personality, full body and good length.
An astonishing wine, lively, light, a futuristic Cahors.
Subtle and fine, with aromas of blueberry, blackcurrant and ripe cherry. On the palate it is fleshy, pleasant, with fine tannins.
Beautiful purple colour, good Cahors, light, not woody, fruity, easy to drink, black fruits on the palate, long finish with liquorice flavour. Well done. Well done.
Not used to 100% Malbec Cahors, this wine didn't blow me away but it did surprise me, particularly with its tannins. They are "light", the wine is fluid, juicy, far from the very full-bodied Cahors with pronounced tannins that I had in mind. I therefore missed the wine match... An experiment to be repeated.
An improvised meal with friends, pork chops from our favourite butcher and this wine to top it all off. Everyone enjoyed it, a great discovery.
This red wine is a deep purple colour with garnet highlights. It has complex aromas of black fruit, liquorice and tobacco. On the palate, it is powerful and elegant, with concentrated flavours of blackberries, plums and spicy notes.
An entry-level Cahors, light and fruity by Cahors standards. Notes of black fruit with a lovely freshness.
The finish, however, is very short.
Having tasted this wine on the estate, I'm a little disappointed by the slightly long ageing process, which deprives us of the fruit. The wine is still a fine expression of Malbec.
An interesting wine, although I prefer Malbec from Argentina. Drinks well. A good entry-level wine to discover the region and this grape variety.
The friendly Croisille family gave its name to an excellent artisanal exploitation, all of the wines of which prove to many others in terms of solidity of constitution and probity in the expression of the origin. Partly located on the excellent terroir of Fages, the vineyard produces intense but balanced wines. The prestigious cuvée, Divin has notably benefited from the advice of Pascal Varaeghe and gives a very smooth and generous wine. Germain Croisille is legitimately proud of his new creation, grain by grain, microcuvée of integral vinification in barrels, which will certainly make a cult wine. The family has just extended their vineyard, which will delight their aficionados.
