Not a great lover of Champagne (but of wine) I was still able to appreciate the complexity of it. Fine bubbles that let me savour the delicate and refined flavours of this cuvée. A very good Champagne!
Excellent Champagne, very straightforward, great finesse of bubbles. We were won over! It is well worth much more expensive Champagne, despite the vintage which is not especially a great vintage in the Champagne region. Well done!
An excellent Champagne with a very light golden/brown color. A beautiful nose of flowers and on the palate you can smell the terroir, it is very structured, not too acidic.
An overview before ordering this vintage. Gosset is not a house that I liked. But surprisingly nice surprise. Fine bubbles and a delicious aromatic flowering. Recommended as an aperitif.
Excellent as an aperitif. Clear color with many columns of fine and light bubbles. Good aromatic finesse of flowers and with hints of dried fruits.
Superb. I recommend and order again. The Blanc de blancs was already a success, this great vintage still rises a little in excellence. The blend is a pure marvel of mastery.
Gosset, founded in 1584, is one of the oldest and most venerable champagne houses. The family Cointreau owns this champagne house which is located in the village of Aÿ. The house built its reputation on vinous, generous and powerful cuvees. The malolactic fermentation is carefully avoided to preserve the natural fruity aroma of the wines. The champagnes have remained well-defined and perfectly regular over the years. The cuvees are still presented in antique bottles, exact reproductions of the ones used in the 18th century.
