A very good wine of its type. Best aired prior to consumption to get the best. Can drink with a variety of food styles. Would buy again at this price.more reviews

A wine typical of great Grenache. Make no mistake - it compares to the big names!!
Beautifully inviting with its candied nose of raspberries and sweet spices. The opening is very rounded and mellow. The aromatic palette is complex and rich, astonishingly peary and very floral. This is a Côtes du Rhône that sets itself apart by its freshness and juicy fruit... Mineral notes crash the party, bringing harmony to the whole. It becomes smooth and flavoursome... A gastronomic wine for a very reasonable price! A lovely gem that will surprise your guests!

An excellent every day wine at a very good price. I loved it and have it on my reorder list. At my age I don't over analyse. A wine pleases me or it does not. This pleases me!

This is a really special Cotes du Rhone - all you'd expect from a good example. Light in colour, a good dollop of alcohol, & a lovely mix of blackberries & chocolate. At the price I paid, an absolute steal. It's a shame it's gone up so much, however is now probably more in line with its worth. Buy!

well constructed wine for the price not overly complex but most enjoyable especially with BBQ meats one to keep on your order list punches above its price point

A decent Rhone. has a kick to it that you don't realise as it is velvety smooth on the pallet. Not overly complex and great with a lamb dish. certainly enjoyable sitting in front of a fire in winter.

Excellent silky smooth red wine. Great value for the quality and had lovely fruit flavour. It wasn’t too heavy, so we enjoyed this wine on a warm summers evening in the garden.

Very deep fruity shiraz Blackcurrant type flavours. Had a liquorice after taste and also nose. Good balance, light and very soft tannins. light acidity and good finish

Pleasingly light for its alcohol content, no tannins and a very more-ish fruitiness. A very nice wine indeed, particularly for early summer. Really pleased to have come across it. I intend to buy more of it.

I like it, nice and pleasant red wine. Good feeling of fruit and freshness. So much better that I thought. A good one for an ordinary dinner. Very good for this price.

Shocked by the depth and complexity. Excellent value for money.

Easy drinking, but less powerful than expected for a Rhone and found it a little thin. Fruit is subtle with light cherries and strawberries. Not much complexity.

Nice Rhone, quite fruity, light and very little tannin - but very nice to drink, easy and punched above its financial weight. I enjoyed it and am glad I bought half a dozen - very happy to roll this out when we have guests for dinner - whenever that might happen again in these extraordinary times.

CLOS DES CENTENAIRES - LUC BAUDET

Neighbors but without really "knowing" each other Luc Baudet and Bruno François settled at the same time, at the beginning of the 2000s in the Rhône Valley, Luc Baudet started by taking over the Château de Mas Neuf to make it, in a little bit. Over 15 years old, one of the benchmarks for the Costières de Nîmes appellation. Today, he has kept only 7 hectares of vines in the middle of oaks and olive trees which he calls: "Clos des Centenaires". Bruno François, for his part, operates the "Clos des Américains". From there, a business on a human scale was born: "Les Deux Clos", with an haute couture profile with a philosophy that is similar to the Rhône Valley with freshness! Costières de Nîmes and Côtes-du-Rhône constitute the entry-level cuvées, then follow the plot signatures, favourite wines! Especially for Vinatis! Often referenced in limited series, they will be found almost exclusively on the tables of the greatest Michelin-starred Chefs! No wonder knowing Luc Baudet's passion for haute cuisine!
