Nice and typical right-bank Bordeaux with all the expected Merlot-y goodness. Not a lot of tertiary complexity yet, but already approachable and fairly complex and full-flavoured, with mostly red fruit, some leather, and oak on the nose. Good length and lots of body.more reviews

Everything is in place for a great wine in this impressive Saint-Emilion Grand Cru!
Clearly blossoming, the Château Laroque should be followed carefully and this wine is the perfect example! It offers a significant and complex bouquet of red and black fruits and violets... Incredibly fine and elegant, the wine offers an impressive palate, well balanced and structured. With a fresh and mineral finish, it is a flawless wine, created for keeping in the cellar for more than two decades! A safe bet not to be missed!!

Good value, medium body, I could smell vanilla and tobacco few hours after decanting. Very sweet long finish, maybe not the best Bordeaux I've tried but a strong wine overall for the price. Out of the 4 I have tried so far my favourite stays the Marquis d'Alesme 2015

Great quality at a fair price. The aroma is intense and the palate is very satisfying. The fruity aromas of the undergrowth are easy to identify. It would be better to keep it for a few years, but drinking it now is already satisfying
