An aromatic palette that unfolds throughout the tasting, it's salivating, very straightforward, an immensely long finish! I am a fan!more reviews

With great finesse and excellent structure, Meursault has received praise from Robert Parker! Try it now!
Coming from a hectare of the domaine that has been cultivated biodynamically for three years, Meursault Les Clous reveals a beautiful bouquet of Anjou pear, lemon oil, white flowers and butter. On the palate it is medium bodied, tangy and tense, with a pure and mineral profile that is defined by its hillside origin. This beautiful white will reach new levels accompanied by foie gras or a seafood platter!

Well guided by the search filters, and in particular the Parker note, I let myself be tempted by this wine which I liked and it delighted everyone as an aperitif. Watch out for the temperature...

DOMAINE VINCENT GIRARDIN

In 1980, when he was only 19 years old at the time, Vincent Girardin, son of a wine-growing family from Santenay since the 17th century, decided to stand on his own feet by exploiting the 2 hectares of vines inherited from his parents. After having tested everything he did in terms of oenology during the 1980s and 1990s, he subsequently returned to the most natural vinification possible which has earned him his success. Today, the estate covers 20 hectares in the vineyards of Burgundy: 42 plots spread over 8 municipalities of Côte de Beaune. In 2012, Vincent Girardin decided to turn the page, without risking endangering the high quality level of his wines. Because if the vines have been sold and the house taken over by the Compagnie des Vins d´Autrefois, the structure remains in place, as does the technical team. The current manager, Eric Germain, is also Vincent Girardin's ex-right-hand man.
