"Impressive accuracy in this delicious Lalande de Pomerol" Robert Parker
It was in 1988 that Jean-Claude Beton, the inventor of the famous small round Orangina bottle, literally fell in love and took over the Château Grand Ormeau. Jean-Claude Beton then set about reviving the vineyard and its production facilities and made a significant investment in it. He worked with the best, such as the famous oenologist Michel Rolland from Libourne. This wine has a beautiful purple colour. The nose evokes aromas of blackcurrant, flowers and small red fruits. On the palate, this wine is very well balanced with pleasant roundness and sweet tannins. It is a real success that will delight your guests!

This is a nice wine, plenty of body, some tannic flavours and improves as it goes. I would recommend this wine. Nice on its own or with a meal, cheese or after dinner
