CHATEAU GISCOURS 2015 - 3EME CRU CLASSE

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Bordeaux / Margaux AOC / 14 % vol

A vintage that is 'almost reminiscent of the 2009' - Robert Parker -
Combined with notes of tobacco, warm spices and peony, the small dark fruit aromas establish themselves deep down, charmingly and deliciously. Walking a line between creaminess and firmness, this vintage possesses magnificent breadth and robustness for a wine at once refined, dense and powerful. Magnificent!

GISCOURS (Château)

Château Giscours produces 3ème Cru Classé Margaux from its unique terroir. With a particularly intense colour, full body and excellent lengthy ageing potential, it has a quite different character from the crus from the northern part of the appellation. Its name is synonymous with elegance and finesse, echoing across the most select tables in France. It has to be said that for some vintages this château can compete with Palmer while being able to offer prices that are much more attractive than those of its rival!
