In the 1900s, Angelo Forcato bought the estate located in the south of the Bordeaux vineyard area, on the first plateau overlooking the right bank of the Garonne. His son Aronne Forcato undertook the expansion in 1966 and gave birth to Château Lary. Since the beginning of the 1990s, Sylvie and Serge Forcato, descendants of this line of winegrowers, have continued to develop the family estate. They bought Château Bourguet de Lacombe and merged it with Château Lary to give birth to this great wine known in France and throughout the world: Château Lary Lacombe.
