EXCELLENT! This St Estèphe did not disappoint us. We decanted it 1 hour before, perhaps let it breathe a little more. We will recommend it for ageing.more reviews

“The Serilhan is a treat!” Robert Parker
The château Serilhan produced a great high-class wine in the prestigious Saint-Estèphe appellation. This wine has a beautiful bouquet beautifully defined with ripe aromas of cigar box and a light smokiness that gently unfolds in the glass. The medium-bodied palate reveals succulent black and red fruit, very fine tannins, noble woody notes and a long sensual finish. Quite charming, this Saint-Estèphe is pure temptation!

Excellent value for money, an elegant wine with a great perspective. Good evolution of the aromas, which turn from black cherry to tobacco, to woody and balsamic nuances. In the mouth it has a good tension, showing its still young but prospective age. An excellent expression of saint-estephe.

A great classic that I highly recommend as it can be served with many dishes. Very good value for money. I have never been disappointed by this product.

A suggestion, an experience and a real discovery for this Saint Estèphe with smoky notes and red fruit flavours. It has all the makings of a great wine, elegant, complex and very affordable for its category.

CHATEAU SERILHAN

20 years ago, this family vineyard property of 20 ha in total in Saint-Estèphe and Haut-Médoc, initiated a "return to the sources" by being inspired by the vision for the Saint-Estèphe of Émile Peynaud, founder of modern oenology: "a lively colour, a bright fruit and harmony on the palate". The means and methods of the renowned vintages are used to create a seductive wine: an integral manual harvest - a careful sorting of the grapes - a plot vinification - a haute-couture ageing - particular attention to the blends. Concerned about preserving its environment and sensitive to new consumer expectations, the Château Sérilhan commits from 2013 to the “High Environmental Value level 3” (HEV3) certification, validated in 2018. The effort will continue in 2020, with the establishment of an apiary in the heart of the property, promoting the return of pollination in the town of Saint-Estèphe.
