LEAVE YOUR REVIEWWine of exceptional quality for this château which leads us into a year that is no less than 2015, what a breathtaking vintage, great wine
I had only tasted the second wine, Château Valoux, which was already very good, but Château Bouscaut is even better. Very pleasant and complex on the nose, with a long finish on the palate and a hint of vanilla.
This is a great wine from the south-west. A lot of elegance in this great wine. Not accessible to everyone, perhaps because of its strong tannic side.
In Bouscaut, owned by the Lurton-Cogombles family, the wines reflect a great, unique and singular terroir. Cru Classé de Graves in red and white, Bouscaut received the High Environmental Value label in 2018. At 34 m above sea level, Bouscaut extends its vineyard facing south on the highest part of the commune of Cadaujac, left bank of the Garonne. The property is planted on 10 hectares of Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc. In red, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and some Malbec are sharing 34 hectares. This terroir is mainly composed of beautiful clays on a limestone base.
