Luxurious, surely modern and traditionalists will certainly start to complain about terroir missing here and all sorts of blah blah. The fact is that this is a very well made wine, it definitely tastes as a claret and not a napa. It's very textural, and that's a great feature that many wines miss.more reviews

“One of the best Margaux” Robert Parker
The Château lascombes immediately seduced us with its black colour tinged with beautiful deep purple highlights. The nose has aromas of black fruit, spice, toast, liquorice. After a supple start on the mouth it becomes explosive. Perfectly balanced, silky tannins give way to a long finish with the same aromas. A great Margaux!
