LEAVE YOUR REVIEWA very tasty drop. At this price, it well deserves to be on the shopping list. Best Red under 5 Euros I've probably ever had. I find that it's best enjoyed on the day of opening, but that is certainly not a criticism. Give it a go, at this price there's really nothing to lose!
A fantastic Bordeaux for the price point and highly recommend. Paired it with boeuf bourguignon and it held up beautifully with the dish, but also excellent to drink on its own. A lovely blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and other red grapes with lots of big red fruit notes (raspberry and cherry).
Have had this producer before from a different vintage and was amazed at the quality of this year at the price.Spoilt for choice and so hard to pick which to buy from the region.Try this you will not be disappointed
Lovely easy drinking red wine, started off quite sharp but softened the longer the bottle was open. I imagine this would go well with anything (had it with spicy chicken and it worked well) or in the garden on its own. Would buy again.
Very pleasant. Red fruits, Medium level of soft tannins.
A very good value claret for the price, where so many budget end clarets are softened with merlot this one allows the cabernet sauvignon to dominate leading to plenty of character with good fruit and a pleasant after taste. I would happily recommend this dry red.
A good bottle for a non-eventful Tuesday night. Priced to sell and not a bad wine, but needs air to get the best out of it. Can be a bit sharp otherwise. Still better than your supermarket budgets.
