Excellent, tannins, fruit, long on the palate, really nice. To be drunk with meats, can be kept for a few more years. Excellent value for money.more reviews

This magnificent Graves literally conquered our hearts! A unanimous tick of approval!!!
Made mostly from Merlot, this Château du Barrailh is a red Graves with an elegant, intense bouquet of red fruits and toasted oak. The palate is well-structured, rich and powerful, framed by aromatic notes of spices and fruit... The wine goes on to a long, flavoursome finish that we found electrifying. This cuvée won us over... You too will succumb to the pleasure of this delicious nectar!

I bought and tasted this Bordeaux in 75cl format. I gave it a score of 16, as it is well balanced. I rate this magnum 18 though, because I think it is the perfect size to let it mature.

So this Bordeaux Graves is just sublime. In magnum, it's fabulous and the bottle looks great on a beautiful table. It will go perfectly with a good duck or a rib of beef.

A good Bordeaux, but nothing more. Not fancy, not complex too complex and delivers what you expect from the left bank. Dark berries, plum, cherry, vanilla, and earthy notes. Fair wine but at a not so fair price

CHATEAU DU BARRAILH

Château du Barrailh is owned by the Labuzan family, located in Portets. Thierry and Denis Labuzan have been making wines in a traditional way since 1847, respecting the old methods inherited from their elders. They strive to keep their status of independent winegrower, that is to say that they bring great standards to their passion: to the cultivation of the vine, to the picking of the grapes, to the development and to the marketing of the wines.
