LEAVE YOUR REVIEWThis is a very pleasant wine of disarming simplicity. It is very frank and very fragrant. The taste of the grape is underlined by a hint of lemon.
The Brajkovich family arrived in New Zealand in 1937. Originally from Croatia, this first generation was already growing some local vines. In 1944 they put the money they had saved into a small vineyard in Kumeu. A vineyard that grew in a very nice way and it was in 1979 that the style and direction started to take a turn with this new generation. A lot more varietals were put forward, a risky gamble at the time, but a bold one. Today, their Sauvignon with a profile similar to that of Loire Valley and their Chardonnay with a very Burgundian profile are known and recognised all over the world thanks to the numerous competitions they have won! Today, the generations and the Brajkovich family continue to persevere in their desire to perfect their ever-popular bottles.
