Impressive! The claimed 48° could be a little scary, but it's not. This level of alcohol is necessary to carry this explosion of floral and fruity sensations that linger deliciously on the palate.more reviews

A harmonious and spicy whisky, produced in a limited quantity (numbered bottles)!
This Single Malt from the famous Aberlour distillery celebrates its taste for working with sherry barrels, hence the name Casg Annamh, “rare barrel” in Gaelic. Produced in small batches and thus in very limited quantities, this rich and complex nectar is bottled cold without filtration at 48% in order to maintain all the aromatic intensity. A rare and numbered whiskey that will delight collectors!

Very good quality to price ratio for a numbered whisky.
A vanilla taste at the end of the tasting. The aromas remain on the palate for a long time. Very smooth for 48%. I highly recommend it.

Fine, smooth, powerful and also long on the palate. Good fruit flavour and at the same time woody, which gives it complexity. Nice find, I'll come back to it.

Aberlour offers a wide range of whiskies, this one unpeated with a spicy taste. The alcohol concentration is not a problem.

The first taste told me that this whisky was out of the ordinary. The aftertaste lasted, it warmed me up, and this bottle will be kept and consumed in moderation. Highly recommended

ABERLOUR

The village of Aberlour is located in the heart of Speyside. Founded in 1826 by James Gordon Lour Burnet, Aberlour was destroyed by fire in the mid-nineteenth century and rebuilt in 1879 by James Fleming. The water that comes from "the mouth of the chattering burn" (the literal translation of Aberlour in Gaelic), goes through the peat and granite soil before being added to the pure whiskey coming out of the distillery's pot-stills.
